Le Pin, a symbolic multiplayer game

Le Pin is a symbolic multiplayer game for the sega saturn, at a very
early developement stage. This is the story of some color squares
dropping triangular bombs in order to kill eachother

Plug as many pads you can. Press start to make a player live. You can
now move. Test pressing the left button while you're near a wall: it
will make you go to the other side. If you're using the "first" pad, you
can scream by pressing the Z button

If some other players are in the game, try to hit them. Press C to drop
a bomb. The bomb is harmless for a few seconds, and then begins to
rotate more fastly, meaning that it explodes. Don't stay in the way.
You've got 100 life point at the begining; staying near a bomb causes
you to lose some. Finally you are dead (if you are not, you can press
start to quit when you're tired). You drift in limbo and disapear. Play
again by pressing start.

*Notes.*
*1.* You might notice that playing the game is not funny. Wait for
further developpements, or code some rules by patching the source and
send it to me.
*2.* However, it has been reported that some people /liked/ the game as is.

    Stephano karat maitre

[stephano karate maitre screenshot]

What you see on the screenshot is only a demo of the stphano karate
maitre's human model. In action, these bodies seem to fall, rotating on
themselves, then disapear in the infinite (z = 500); and repeat the
movement. The final game is supposed to be less poetical, as I will add
some fighting capabilities to the players.

    I don't understand ! / It doesn't work ! / I have a problem !

You should go to SegaXtreme <http://litespeedcomputers.com/sx>, section
"message board", then "developer central" and ask your question. My
nickname down there is vreuzon.

    General Statements

What do you mean by /symbolic game/ ?

After a certain amount of time playing a game, you don't see the
graphics anymore. Getting rid of credible real-life style graphics by
using symbols is a good way to go directly trough the game objects and
rules. And sprites are much more complicated to use according to me than
the 3D SGL functions.
